MeroToro

MeroToro is the sister restaurant to Contramar, with owners and chefs who have worked in both kitchens. Their theme is Baja California cuisine, which is combinations of seafood and meat with Italian touches. MeroToro served the best bread I've ever had in my life—dark, flavorful crust with a light and airy interior. We loved the bread so much we actually got a box of it to-go.

What makes MeroToro such a good restaurant to know about is that you can easily get reservations there, day of, via the OpenTable app. It is located in the Condesa neighborhood.
